Study of a fiber laser based on bismuth ion doping in the 1300-1350 nm band
This paper reviews the research progress of bismuth ion-doped fiber lasers in the 1300 nm band. Bismuth-doped fiber, as an active medium with broad application prospects, has an emission spectral range covering 1150-1800 nm, which provides new possibilities in fields such as near-infrared lasers and fiber amplifiers. Fiber laser is an important part in the field of modern optics, which has important research significance and wide application value. In science and technology, industry, medical, communications and other fields, fiber lasers play a vital role. In this paper, this paper use the theoretical model of fiber laser to analyze rate and power equations. This includes models of energy level jumps, gain coefficients, and losses in the three-energy level system. Based on the simulated results, the influence of various parameters on laser properties is studied. It is shown that the influence of the pump power on the LD and LD is remarkable. The research results in this paper provide theoretical guidance and reference for the design and application of bismuth-doped fiber lasers.
