Unveiling the future: the potential of graphene electronics
Graphene, a material with a hexagonal arrangement of carbon atoms, exhibits remarkable properties such as high electrical and thermal conductivity, low density, and chemical stability, making it highly promising for various applications in electronics, energy storage, and sensors. This report delves into the production methods of graphene, highlighting the advantages and limitations of both chemical and physical approaches. Chemical methods like Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and oxidation-reduction are identified as more suitable for large-scale industrial production due to their efficiency, safety, and environmental considerations. The report also discusses graphene’s potential applications, including its use as a transparent electrode, in hydrogen storage, and as a material for sensors, demonstrating its versatility across different fields. Despite its potential, the selection of the most appropriate manufacturing method requires careful consideration of factors such as cost, environmental impact, and production efficiency. This analysis underscores the importance of optimizing graphene production techniques to meet the growing demand and fully harness its capabilities in next-generation technologies.
