Design of smart pill box using Multisim simulation
With the aging of society and the increase in the number of chronic disease patients, the importance of medication management has become increasingly prominent. Because of the dependence of patients' self-discipline, traditional medication often leads to missing or mistaking of drugs, which affects the therapeutic effect and the health of patients. To address this challenge, the smart pill box has emerged as an innovative medical device designed to provide a more efficient and reliable medication management solution. The smart pill box has been designed with a variety of customized features that displays on some seven-segment displays, such as time display, battery, alarm clock reminder and countdown function to enhance the user experience. The basic circuit design and simulations were conducted using Multisim software to ensure that each function operates correctly and without interference. While the feasibility has been verified experimentally, issues such as digital jumping and poor circuit integration still require further optimization. Through the integration of these functions, the smart pill box not only improves the user's medication compliance, but also optimizes the drug efficacy and provides a comprehensive and reliable medication management system.
