The elimination of harmonics generated in PV system connected to grid
Power transmission harmonics result in increased voltage drops in cables, distorted voltage waveforms at the ends of long supply cables, high harmonic content voltage at the neutral point of three-phase systems, damaged power factor correction capacitor banks connected across power supply cables, and rising natural current that, even in cases with balanced three-phase loads, poses a fire risk. This article examines harmonic distortion, evaluates its analysis, and determines how well harmonics are removed. As a result, both passive and active methods are used to minimize the harmonics of direct current (dc) and alternating current (ac), with passive methods often emphasizing impedance visualization. It is possible to modify the emissions from the complete set as well as the harmonic emissions from each individual inverter. This review was written to provide harmonics mitigation algorithms and offer methods for locating and measuring harmonic distortion. Consequently, two categories of methods exist for lowering these harmonics: the dc-side and ac-side methods, which include both passive and active approaches. The testing of ocular resistance will be prioritized by the passive methods.
