Research on bismuth-doped fiber laser in 1200 nm band
With the development of science and technology, the rise of the data era requires the transmission capacity of communication systems to be further improved. As a medium suitable for long-distance transmission, fiber lasers are widely used in many fields. Among them, bismuth-doped fiber laser has excellent amplification performance. This article simulates a bismuth-doped fiber laser in the 1200-1250nm band through MATLAB simulation. It will first introduce the research background of bismuth-doped fiber lasers and give a general discussion of its research status at home and abroad. Secondly, it will introduce the quantum electrodynamics model of bismuth ions and demonstrate its energy level system, its electronic transition process is summarized and the relevant formulas are listed. The parameters used in the experiment are listed. Then based on the results of the simulation experiment, the relationship between the pump optical power and the laser power is discussed and summarized., and finally summarize the conclusions and look forward to the future.
