Signal processing technology of wearable devices for ECG measurement
Wearable devices are portable, dynamic, real-time and continuous, and play an increasingly important role in areas such as physiological monitoring and disease prevention. Electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring has important clinical value in the diagnosis, prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases. With the rapid development of the element of Internet like artificial intelligence, big data and other technologies, wearable ECG is playing an increasingly important role. This paper presents the application of wearable technology in health monitoring and how different types of wearable devices (for example, smartwatches, wearable fetal ECG monitoring systems) can monitor physiological data (for instance, heart rate, blood pressure) in real time. Explored signal processing techniques used to process biological signals (for example, electrocardiograms), illustrated typical circuit design, electrocardiographic equipment. It also studied different types of denoising methods in wearable device design considerations to effectively restore ECG signal, and the design of low-power circuits. Finally, existing problems in cardiac monitoring with wearable devices are discussed, and development opportunities and future challenges are envisioned.
