Design and simulation of a UAV control system based on PD control
With the increasing application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in various fields, UAV research is becoming increasingly important. Especially in the military fields, UAVs have a pivotal position and are valued by more and more countries. The control system is the brain of the drone and is the key to enabling the drone to achieve the required requirements. However, the traditional simple method uses simple proportional control to adjust, which can achieve system stability, but the response speed of the system is not excellent. Therefore, in this study, the design principle and parameter tuning method of the proportional-derivative (PD) controller are analyzed to design the controller, and the Octave is used to simulate and analyze the system. The simulation results indicate that the attitude stability and trajectory tracking of the UAV are effectively controlled by the PD controller, demonstrating excellent dynamic performance. To further refine the UAV control system, this study offers a theoretical foundation and point of reference.
