Application of graphene in semiconductor power electronic devices

In today's society, silicon is the primary material in semiconductor manufacturing and dominates the semiconductor industry market. However, since the discovery of graphene materials, researchers have been studying it for several years. Its special properties and high-quality electronic characteristics have made graphene widely used in the electronic and electrical semiconductor industry. However, graphene also has many defects that make it impossible for contemporary technology to fully replace silicon, so graphene cannot be fully used in the semiconductor industry. This article will discuss the special electronic properties of graphene, such as electron mobility, conductivity, and ductility. Additionally, it will explore where graphene is used in the field of electronics and appliances today. Furthermore, this paper will discuss the advantages of graphene over silicon which was the leading material for electronic appliances, and discuss its defects in different aspects and the problems by these defects for analyzing graphene is considered to be a revolutionary semiconductor material but cannot be widely used.
