Hardware-in-loop semi-physical simulation research on variable frequency AC digital voltage regulation
With the increasing application of variable frequency alternating current(VFAC), the traditional analog voltage regulation has been difficult to reach the index of wide VFAC generator. The appearance of digital voltage regulation effectively solves the influence of broadband on generation control. But how to establish a set of parameters with better control performance in a wide frequency range has become a major difficulty. Aiming at the problems of long setting period and high test cost of digital voltage regulation control parameters, this paper introduces a hardware-in-loop(HIL) semi-physical tuning method for PID control parameters. Using a real-time simulation model to simulate the generator and connecting it with the controller prototype, conducting HIL simulation testing of the entire system, obtaining the optimal control parameters and using them for physical testing verification. The experimental results prove that the method can quickly find the fitting control parameters, save the parameter optimization test cycle and reduce the test cost.
