Research on airworthiness verification technology for cargo compartment fire extinguishing agent distribution system under security clauses
In response to the enhanced security design requirements proposed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in FAR 25-127 amendment, this paper explores the airworthiness compliance strategies for the fire protection system of large transport aircraft against clause 795(b)(3). The research focuses on the impact resistance performance of the cargo compartment fire extinguishing agent distribution subsystem. Through systems engineering and scenario analysis methods, an innovative verification strategy is proposed to ensure the effectiveness of the fire extinguishing system under extreme conditions such as explosions. Additionally, the paper discusses how to maximize safety while minimizing the impact on aircraft operational efficiency in the design process. Through this comprehensive study, the paper aims to provide practical guidance and recommendations for aircraft designers and airworthiness certification agencies, aiming to enhance aircraft safety performance and ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
