Analytical modeling and experimental validation of torque motor with sharp tooth for two-dimensional valve
In view of the lengthy and complicated design process of sharp tooth torque motor for two-dimensional valves, a quantitative analytical model is proposed. Using finite element simulation, the magnetic saturation distribution at sharp tooth, the shape of air gap flux tubes and the soft magnetic materials magnetic density distribution of sharp tooth torque motor are determined. Dividing the stator-rotor reluctance and considering the leakage effect of permanent magnets, an equivalent magnetic circuit model of sharp tooth torque motor for two-dimensional valves was established, and the permeability of the saturated region was solved by Newtonian iterative method. The torque-angle and current-torque characteristics were compared with experiment values to verify the accuracy of analytical model.
