Dynamic and static characteristics of magnetically levitated two-dimensional proportional servo valve
This article presents a new magnetically levitated two-dimensional proportional servo valve. The valve adopts a claw-pole torque motor as an electro-mechanical converter. Magnetic spring is used instead of mechanical spring to improve the valve's stability and reliability in the torque motor . To establish the numerical model for the two-dimensional plunger module, the flow continuation equation is employed. Structurally suitable parameters are chosen for the production of the experimental prototype and the setting up of the experimental platform. Based on the experimental findings, the hysteresis loop of the prototype valve is measured at 0.98% under a system pressure of 7 MPa, with a maximum step-up time of 31 ms and a maximum step-down time of 26 ms.
