Performance and compensation loss analysis of EVTOL heat pump air conditioning system
An AC system was designed to meet the temperature regulation requirements of a specific type of EVTOL cabin. A system model was constructed using the AMESim dynamic simulation platform. The study examined the variations in the operation of the AC system consumes energy when only the size of the heat exchanger was modified, while the internal and external structures remained constant. Furthermore, a compensation loss index was introduced to assess the impact on hovering power due to changes in the weight of the heat exchanger. The simulation results provide a foundation for the design and optimization of EVTOL AC systems.
