Honing tool system development of electro-hydraulic servo valve based on adaptive pressure control
For improving the machining efficiency of electro-hydraulic servo valves and overcoming the limitation of specialized honing machines, a honing tool system for machining centre is developed to complete both rough and fine machining in one clamping process. The honing pressure is a key factor affecting the hole shape accuracy. If the honing pressure can be precisely controlled, it will help improve the machining accuracy. Therefore, a honing tool system based on adaptive pressure control is proposed to meet the needs of different honing pressures at different positions, and to further improve the machining accuracy of valve sleeves. Firstly, combined with the characteristics of the honing process and the machining centre, the design requirements and overall structure of the honing tool system are determined. Then, the research is conducted from two aspects: the honing tool and the pressure closed-loop control system. Finally, a honing tool system based on adaptive pressure control that can realize high-precision machining of valve sleeves is developed, which significantly improves machining efficiency while ensuring machining accuracy.
