Fault-tolerant control strategy of five-phase PMSM based on decoupling vector control
A fault-tolerant control (Hereinafter referred to as FTC) strategy based on decoupling vector control theory is proposed for the operation mode of two-phase open circuit fault in the PMSM of five phase drive control system. By establishing a mathematical model of the motor in a synchronous rotating coordinate system (Hereinafter referred to as RCS) and constructing a decoupling transformation matrix, the id and iq axes in the current loop of the control motor are decoupled to achieve FTC of the five phase PMSM with two-phase open circuit faults. The simulation results indicate that the FTC strategy based on decoupling vector control theory can make the motor drive control system run with reliable operation, it has the advantages of simple and effective control methods, rapid stabilization of torque fluctuations, and powerful fault tolerance.
