Design and performance study of vibration isolation with quasi-zero stiffness support for aircraft hydraulic lines
Aircraft hydraulic piping system vibration is a critical issue for aircraft flight safety. For the vibration isolation of aircraft hydraulic piping system, the narrow space has brought challenges to the design. This paper presents a vibration isolation support designed on the quasi-zero stiffness (QZS) principle. This support not only provides the function of supporting the piping system, but also has good vibration isolation characteristics. The QZS support designed here is on the basis of stiffness combination principle, and the QZS characteristics are achieved by reasonably selecting the structural dimensions. Using the pseudo-rigid body model and the virtual work principle, the analytical model for the QZS support is obtained and validated by finite element simulation. In addition, finite element simulation is used to investigate the isolation effectiveness of the QZS support. The designed QZS isolator shows a low initial isolation frequency and reduced vibration transmissibility, offering a reliable solution for isolating vibrations in aircraft hydraulic piping systems, thereby enhancing aircraft stability and safety.
