Research on high-reliability control strategies for electric drive systems of electric unmanned aerial vehicle

Based on the concept of environmental protection, high efficiency, and energy conservation, electric aircraft have greatly improved the environmental friendliness and comfort of aircraft, making them an inevitable choice for the development of gree n aviation. As the power output component of electric unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the electric drive system plays a crucial role. Regarding the issue that traditional vector control algorithms fail to control motors due to current sensor malfunction s when applied to aviation electric drive systems, this paper proposes a high-reliability control strategy for the electric drive system of electric UAV. Based on the mathematical model of the motor, this strategy utilizes voltage equations to inversely derive the current, which serves as a virtual current loop in place of sampled current. The proposed strategy enables the implementation of dual closed-loop control for both speed and current, showcasing exceptional motor control performance in both simulation and experimental scenarios. Furthermore, this strategy enhances the reliability of electric drive systems, thereby establishing a robust foundation for the advancement of electric aircraft development.
