The platform of amphibious vertical take-off and landing aircraft based on the tilt-body configuration
Amphibious UAVs can adapt to flying and sailing on water, and have unique advantages in large-scale maritime missions. However, traditional amphibious aircraft have high structural requirements, complex transition process, difficult control, poor stability, and small payload. This paper combines the characteristics of the take-off and landing process of the tilt-body configuration to determine a new design scheme for amphibious aircraft; based on hydrodynamic research, a unique hull fuselage design and optimization method are determined; and then the corresponding control algorithm is developed to control the aircraft. Finally, in order to verify the feasibility of the scheme, this project produced a verification machine and conducted simulation experiments and flight tests on it, achieving the expected results. Compared with other types of amphibious vertical take-off and landing platforms, the " LingQiao" has the advantages of simple body structure, no complex tilting mechanism, fast take-off and landing, low cost, and easy maintenance.
