Torque ripple suppression for fault-tolerant motor under open-circuit condition based on PIR controller
Utilizing the computational model of the motor, the fault-tolerant current reconstruction technique of the five-phase fault-tolerant motor is analysed in accordance with the need of high reliability and low torque ripple for the aircraft actuator in MEA/AEA. Also, the second and fourth harmonic torque ripple under open-circuit condition is researched. Next, a proposed harmonic injection method based on double resonators is presented for the five-phase motor. For testing and verification, the phase-missing reduced-dimension decoupling control is used with the five-phase fault-tolerant motor. The motor's d- and q- axis current ripple amplitudes are compared to those of PI and PIR regulators. The experimental findings validate the accuracy of the theoretical analysis.
