Modeling and fault diagnosis of the PID-controlled electro-hydraulic system based on LSTM

The electro-hydraulic servo system is widely used in the aerospace industry due to its ability to deliver high power and the lack of mechanical transmission constraints, enabling power to be transmitted over long distances. However, the extensive range of spare parts required for hydraulic systems presents a significant challenge. The failure of a single component can lead to the failure of the entire system, highlighting the necessity for careful maintenance and monitoring. This article addresses the aforementioned issues by examining the hydraulic system of superplastic forming equipment(SPF) as a case study. It begins by modelling, then proceeds to analyse and categorise potential faults, and finally presents a fault diagnosis method for the electro-hydraulic system of SPF. The proposed method is designed to effectively identify and localise faults.
