COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MACRO AND MICRO ELEMENTS IN AMYGDALUS BUCHARICA AND AMYGDALUS COMMUNIS
Almonds are rich in many nutrients such as fatty acids, lipids, amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, as well as secondary metabolites. Therefore, one of the important issues is the study of the mineral composition of the same almond varieties grown in different regions of our republic, or different varieties of almonds grown in the same environment, determining how rich they are in macro- and microelements, the preparation of natural medicines from them, the isolation of biologically active substances. The aim of the study is to determine the elemental composition of amygdalus communis and Amygdalus bucharica using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, as well as to compare their macro- and microelement compositions. The plants Amygdalus bucharica and Amygdalus communis grown in the Uzbek district of the Ferghana region were selected as the object of research. The amount of 30 macro- and microelements contained in them was determined using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. According to the results obtained, it was studied that sweet almonds contain a large amount of the macronutrients potassium (112,322 mg/g) and calcium (30,834 mg/g), and bitter almonds contain a large amount of the elements magnesium (31,748 mg/g) and phosphorus (51,598 mg/g). It was also found that the samples contain trace elements important for the human body, such as iron, copper, zinc and manganese. Amygdalus communis and amygdalus bucharica did not contain toxic elements. These results show that both samples are rich in minerals. While Amygdalus bucharica is used to prepare natural medicines because of its richness in minerals, using amygdalus communis in a daily diet can help meet this body's mineral needs even without medication.
