Ground testing of airborne high-frequency communication system based on Rician fading channel modelling
Airborne high-frequency (HF) communication is a crucial component of communications navigation and identification (CNI) systems. During flight tests of HF communication systems, the complex channel environment results in multipath transmission, energy loss, Doppler effect, and other issues. To evaluate the performance of (HF) communication systems, a typical Rician HF channel model is established to simulate a typical flight scenario. Additionally, a ground test environment simulation software for HF communication systems is developed and verified with hardware equipment. This test system is of significant importance for the flight testing of airborne HF communication.
