Modeling of a permanent magnet synchronous motor for an aircraft based on Simulink
In an aerospace aircraft servo system, the modeling and analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) faces great challenges due to its nonlinear, multi-variable and strong coupling characteristics. To enhance motor modeling and analysis effectiveness, this study introduces a Simulink-based modeling approach. The mechanical model and control drive model of PMSM were constructed by modular modeling, and the motor simulation model was established on the Simulink. The accuracy and stability of the model establishment were verified by signal injection under typical working conditions. The experimental results showed that the model had excellent following performance and dynamic response. It also lays the foundation for the optimization of servo control system and the digitalization of servo system.
