Study on shift and rotation of image vector in image stabilization system
Fast steering mirrors (FSM) are widely used in high precision image stabilization system, in which beam adjustment can be realized to enhance the image quality of the system. Fast steering mirror is usually fixed in the optical path of the image stabilization system, and the direction of the beam is changed by adjusting the attitude of the mirror, so as to adjust the position and attitude of the image on the imaging platform. Based on the theory of coordinate transformation and the law of light vector reflection, the relationship between the platform attitude and the mirror attitude of FSM. Shift and the rotation of the image vector are studied meanwhile. The kinematic model of shift and rotation of the image vector in the high-precision image stabilization system is established, and the coupling relationship between the change of the attitude angle and the image vector coordinates is analysed. The results show that when the platform attitude measurement system and the imaging plane are arranged in a 45°relative position relationship, the attitude change of the FSM and the attitude of the platform will cause the image vector to shift and rotate.
