Voltage drop design method of aircraft main feeders based on a twisted laying
The main feeders, as crucial wires connecting the generator to the power distribution panel, possess characteristics such as high voltage, large current, long laying distance, and a complex laying environment. The voltage drop on these main feeders significantly impacts the power supply quality of the electrical power system, from the engine nacelle through the nacelle, pylon, middle EE and other compartments. Additionally, it is an important parameter affecting the detailed design of the generator and controller. This paper proposes a design method for civil aircraft main feeders' voltage drop based on twisted laying, building upon regular hexagon laying. Research on twisted laying of feeders can effectively improve phase impedance imbalance and reduce voltage drop while providing essential support for subsequent power generation system design.
