Optimization analysis of cooling circuit of liquid pump motor
A liquid pump is the core component of a liquid cooling system. With the increase in heat dissipation of airborne electronic equipment, the conventional air-cooled cooling motor can no longer meet the requirements. To meet the system requirements, the motor of a certain liquid pump is overloaded, which puts forward higher requirements for motor cooling. To meet the heat dissipation effect of the motor, this paper takes the liquid pump and its motor as the research object. It puts forward four structural schemes of the motor cooling circuit according to the different arrangement modes of bends, through holes, and fins in the cooling circuit. The whole flow field of the liquid pump is modelled in three dimensions, the temperature field and flow field are simulated by CFD software, the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme are analysed and the cooling channel structure is optimized. By comparing the simulation results with the experimental results, it is verified that the optimized motor cooling circuit has a good heat dissipation effect, which provides experience for the subsequent optimization of the liquid cooling scheme of the liquid pump motor.
