Study on high-pressure and high-speed service characteristics of aviation hydraulic pumps

High integration and light-weight are core features of the airborne hydraulic actuation system of future civil aviation aircraft and fighter aircraft. As the core power component of the hydraulic actuation system, the high-pressure and high-speed axial piston pump can significantly improve the power-to-weight ratio. However, high pressure and high speed also bring reliability problems to it, such as fatigue of core structural parts and failure of friction components, which seriously threaten the safety of flight missions. To this end, this paper uses the finite element method to analyze the mechanical characteristics of the core structural components of a certain axial piston pump under high-pressure and high-speed conditions, uses the computational fluid dynamics method to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the high-speed fluid domain under high pressure, and uses the friction and wear test method to obtain the evolution law of the wear behavior of the core components of the friction pair and the material matching method. Through above researches, the service characteristics of the axial piston pump under high-pressure and high-speed conditions were obtained, providing theory and methods for further improving the reliability and long-term service stability of axial piston pumps.
