Research on trajectory tracking of VTOL vehicle based on sliding mode control
This paper presents a sliding mode control scheme for the trajectory tracking control of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft. The original system is decomposed into two subsystems using system decomposition technology, and the output trajectory tracking problem of the original system is transformed into the stabilization problem of these two subsystems. A control law is designed for the decoupled system using sliding mode control. The controller developed ensures the stability of the closed-loop system. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control exhibits excellent tracking performance and achieves fast and accurate tracking of the given reference trajectory of the aircraft.
