Optimization method of aviation lithium-ion battery pack based on SP+ model
With the advancement of multi-electric aircraft technology and lithium-ion battery technology, lithium-ion batteries are commonly utlized in the aviation field. Apart from being used as emergency batteries, they are increasingly being employed as power batteries for aircraft. Due to the high demands of aircraft on characteristics such as weight and volume of lithium-ion battery packs, there is a need for optimization in their design. Utilizing model-based methods for optimization design can effectively reduce costs and shorten development cycles. Since the SP+ electrochemical model can accurately reflect the working mechanism of lithium-ion batteries and has characteristics such as high precision and simple computation, this paper adopts the SP+ model to construct a lithium-ion battery pack model and validates it. Simultaneously, taking typical electrical usage scenarios as examples, optimization design of aviation lithium-ion battery packs was carried out, achieving optimization of battery pack weight and volume.
