Association between cerebral venous thrombosis and hyperthyroidism: a case report

Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) associated with hyperthyroidism is rarely reported. We aimed to report a case that illustrates interactions between CVT and hyperthyroidism. The case consisted of 46 years- old woman from Madagascar who presented CVT and pulmonary embolism. The only highlighted biological abnormality was hyperthyroidism. CVT and hyperthyroidism were considered unrelated and their coexistence was fortuitous without any causality link.
