A Study into the Translation Practical Training in English Teaching at Universities

With the development of the world economy and the progress of science and technology, the process of globalization is advancing continuously, and the translation ability has become a necessary core skill for English majors in colleges and universities. English is one of the world's common languages, and as higher talents should master the necessary English translation ability to get the ticket to step into the international arena. This paper analyzes the importance of practical translation training in English teaching in colleges and universities, and puts forward the optimization path for the problems existing in the current practical translation training, in order to provide reference for improving the quality of English translation teaching in colleges and universities in China.
