Multi-Stage Resilience Enhancement Based on ESSs Allocation and Component Repair of IECADNs

With the advancement of the energy system, integrated energy-coupled active distribution networks (IECADNs) are garnering attention due to the interaction of multiple energy sources. Given the increasing frequency of extreme weather events in recent years, it is imperative to fortify the resilience of IECADNs against such occurrences. This paper analyzes the characteristics of IECADNs and proposes a multi-stage approach to enhance resilience, which involves allocating energy storage systems (ESSs) in the resistance stage and reconfiguring networks in the adaptation and repairing stages. Before extreme weather events, ESSs are optimally allocated using snow ablation optimization (SAO). After extreme weather events, a j oint optimal model is proposed to alleviate the impact of power outages. Using MATLAB, an IECADN is created, comprising the IEEE-33 node system distribution network, an 1S-node gas distribution subsystem, a 16-node water distribution subsystem, and a 14-node thermal subsystem. The results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively reduces power outages and maximizes the utilization of interconnected equipment to enhance resilience with an improvement of 44.10%.
