Research on the Two-Stage Optimization Method of Electric Thermal Storage Adjustable Load and Energy Storage Configuration for the Improvement of Renewable Energy Consumption Rate
With large-scale renewable energy connection of the power grid, the issue of renewable energy consumption is becoming increasingly prominent. This paper proposes a two-stage optimization method that utilizes electric thermal storage and energy storage to improve the local renewable energy consumption rate jointly. This paper first analyzes the working principle of electric thermal storage load and establishes an optimization model for electric thermal storage load operation with the objective function of maximizing local renewable energy consumption rate. Then, based on the optimization results of the previous stage, a bi-level optimization model for energy storage capacity configuration was established, with maximizing operational profits and minimizing energy storage investment as the inner and outer objective functions. This method can effectively improve the local renewable energy consumption rate and the economic efficiency of energy storage configuration. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified through actual cases.
