Study on the Influence of Multiple Coaxial Cable Breaks on Ground Circuit Current
Due to the complex installation environment of underground tunnel cables, their cross interconnection boxes may experience coaxial cable breakage due to human or natural factors, which poses a hidden danger to the safe operation of the power system. This article analyzes the coaxial cable fracture fault of high-voltage cables arranged in parallel with two 110kV XLPE sections. PSCAD simulation software is used for modeling and simulation. Multiple fracture fault points are set for coaxial cables responsible for two cross interconnections in a cross interconnection section, and the grounding current at the beginning of the cable circuit is calculated. The waveform changes of the grounding current after different positions and multiple fractures of the coaxial cable are compared and analyzed, providing theoretical reference for fault detection of high-voltage cables.
