Diagnosis Multiple Open-Circuit Faults in Neural Direct Torque Control of Induction Motor Drive Using Neural Networks
Due to the frequent malfunctions of an inverter, it will be necessary to identify malfunctions early on, figure out how to regulate operation, and take preventative measures to stop recurrent disruptions. In this paper, we use neural networks to provide a pattern recognition based approach for handling open circuit switching failures in voltage inverters driven by neural direct torque. The pattern surface and the signal power are the only two components of the reduced feature vector that the neural network is trained on, which simplifies and makes the detection process easier to understand. According to the simulation results, the neural network-based method performs better at classification for both single and multiple errors.
