Simulation and Optimal Design of Airflow Organization in Indoor Substation Based on Vortex Ventilation
Under the condition of high temperature and high load, the ventilation and heat dissipation effect of indoor substations seriously affects the reliability and safety of substation operation. In this paper, vortex ventilation technology is introduced to take the main substation room of a 110 kV indoor substation in Beijing as the research object. Using Ansys Fluent numerical simulation, the indoor temperature field and velocity field characteristics of the main substation under the vortex ventilation form are explored. The results show that the vortex ventilation reduces the average temperature of the indoor personnel activity area by $11 \%$ compared with the original scheme. The maximum temperature at 0.3 m above the transformer was reduced by $22 \%$, and the heat accumulation between radiators and in the area above the transformer was improved. The effect of the location and size of the air supply outlet on heat dissipation by vortex ventilation was also studied in depth.
