Application of fuzzy logic control to improve the power stability system Using a unified power flow controller
The significant increase in demand for high-quality electrical energy, which is an important issue for residential, industrial, and commercial uses, has prompted customers and utilities to pay more attention to energy quality. Which led to the emergence of flexible control units in the alternating current transmission system (FACTs) by combining the functions of many FACTs devices in one unit with the aim of developing it and improving its performance. The UPFC (unified power flow control device) is the most efficient FACTS device available to control the flow of power. Active and reactive power of the transmission line. In this paper, the quality of active and reactive power was improved using UPFC based on the FLC fuzzy logic controller, and a comparative study of the system performance was conducted with traditional PID control and FLC.
