INFORMATION SUPPORT OF THE YOUTH LABOR MARKET: PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF IMPROVEMENT
The development of the economy is impossible without the involvement of young people in the workforce, the development of the youth labor market. The study examines the problems of information support for the youth labor market related to the lack of information, its fragmentation, which reduces the opportunities for effective employment of young people. The purpose of the study is to identify the causes, guidelines and requirements of job search by young people, their information needs, to determine the relevance of the types of information about the labor market used by young people when searching for work and making employment decisions and, based on this, to formulate recommendations for practical application. For this purpose, a sociological survey of young people studying at universities and colleges in the Chelyabinsk region was conducted. It was determined that young people are poorly informed about government programs and projects to promote youth employment, and use mainly online sources when looking for work, which should be taken into account by labor market actors. The results of the study can be used in the activities of government, business, and educational institutions to raise awareness among young people about the possibilities of the labor market and create conditions for effective employment.
