Boiler pipe life analysis method based on mate-rial fatigue analysis and operating parameter correction

The fatigue stress of metallic materials is the most direct and precise metric for quantifying material degradation and pipeline integrity. However, in practical industry, obtaining continuous, extensive, and timely technical supervision of metals presents a significant challenge. Consequently, meeting the accuracy requirements for pipeline life prediction is difficult. This article proposes a boiler pipeline life analysis method based on material fatigue analysis and running parameter model correction. Firstly, a stress life analysis model is constructed using experimental data on pipeline metal materials, geometric parameters, strain parameters, and fatigue process physical quantities. Subsequently, the information parameter method is employed, utilizing data such as operating status parameters, including temperature and pressure, to refine the model. Finally, four experiments are conducted using technical supervision data and operating data from boiler pipelines and bending tube weld metals. The analysis results closely align with actual outcomes, demonstrating that the life analysis method proposed in this article is viable and can serve as a reference for future studies.
