Equipment general quality characteristics evaluation: planning of questionnaire content for qualitative subjective data collection

As the emphasis on enhancing user experience grows in the design and production of equipment, rigorous research on users' subjective perceptions of general quality characteristics become increasingly important. However, there remains a shortage of tools for collecting subjective data on these characteristics. This article analyzes the internal relationships between general quality characteristics through structural equation modeling and constructs a comprehensive questionnaire addressing five dimensions: equipment suitability and usability, task execution difficulty, workload, supportability element supply efficacy, and human-system interaction experience. The questionnaire items have been meticulously crafted to closely align with the typical manner of describing user experiences. Additionally, empirical questionnaires are available for consultation, facilitating th e swift development of a valid and reliable questionnaire. The article also presents the mapping relationship between the constructed questionnaire items and the general quality characteristics, obtaining the weights of each item through expert scoring. Reliability and validity tests confirm that the questionnaire possesses good reliability and validity, making it a useful tool for collecting subjective data on the general quality characteristics of equipment.
