Optimization of startup signal for residual heat removal system of secondary side
Due to the component interaction behavior in the control process, the startup signal of the residual heat removal system of the secondary side (PRS), and the fault tree analysis method may have incomplete identification of the failure model. Therefore, this paper enhances the fault tree analysis method by introducing the System Theory Process Analysis (STPA) method as a supplement. The STPA method is used for qualitative analysis of the startup signal of the PRS, identifying a more comprehensive set of potential failure factors. Subsequently, quantitative analysis is performed by building a fault tree mod el to identify the weaknesses of the PRS startup signal. An improvement scheme for the PRS startup signal is then proposed. Evaluation and analysis of the improved scheme indicate that the optimization strategy is both reasonable and feasible. Furthermore, the proposed enhanced fault tree analysis method can be effectively applied to system desig n improvement and optimization in the development process of similar power plants and new reactors.
