Test methods for reliability evaluation based on environmental factors
Reliability tests are typically conducted in a single environment. However, when products operate in different environments, the original reliability test methods become inadequate. This paper studies reliability evaluation test methods under two different environments based on the reliability characteristic quantities required by the reliability evaluation test. It provides calculation methods for the initial failure period and service life concerning environmental factors, as well as the principles for reducing reliability information across different environments. Using a specific product as an example, a feasible reliability evaluation test scheme based on the environmental factor reliability evaluation test method is proposed.
