A research on automated 3D scanning measurement technique for parts
At present, some parts are small in size and have more hole features, and the traditional manual drag scanning and semi-automatic scanning methods have problems such as serious dependence on human experience and low efficiency. In order to improve the utilization rate of product manufacturing information in the part design model, and to improve the degree of digitization and intelligence of part scanning, this article proposes a model-based 3D automatic scanning and measurement technology for parts. By analyzing the information of the 3D design model of the part, automatically generating the scanning and measuring path, and utilizing the 3D automatic scanning and measuring platform, it realizes the full automation process from inputting the theoretical model of the part to outputting the measured model of the part. This technology can reduce the influence of human factors, and can effectively identify and extract hole features and scanning missing areas, which is convenient to improve the integrity of the measured model and optimize the measurement results of the features.
