Effective combinations of urban transportation policies using an artificial society model

Recently, various modes of transportation have been developed and introduced. Each of these means of transportation has its own characteristics, and thus, combinations of appropriate transportation policies must be examined. In this study, a combination of transportation policies is examined in the southeastern region of Osaka city using an artificial society model. The introduction of bus rapid transit as a means of primary transportation, an e-scooter sharing service, and an on-demand bus as means of access transportation were examined.
