SOFT Cluster Score: A Series of Indices Predicting a Spectrum of Outcomes

It is crucial to identify suitable candidates for liver transplantation given the shortage of available donor organs. Scores like the MELD or BAR score can offer some insight into a patient’s mortality risk, however, they predict only one patient outcome. Our aim was to achieve a more comprehensive risk assessment for liver transplant patients by creating a series of independent risk index equations for six distinct post-transplant endpoints.
