Liver Transplant Outcomes of NMP Allografts with End-Perfusion Lactate Greater or Equal to 2.5 mmol/L
Background: Normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) is increasingly used for liver transplantation (LT) to reduce ischemia-reperfusion injury and improve graft outcomes. Allograft lactate clearance thresholds, ranging from < 1.7 mmol/L to 2.5 mmol/L, are commonly used in clinical practice, though their predictive value remains debated. This study aimed to compare LT outcomes based on end- perfusion lactate levels in NMP livers.
