Equivalent conductivity measurement methods for mixed non-homogeneous media
Aiming at the problems of complicated electrode deployment and uncertain measurement range under a non-uniform medium in the "current-voltage" four-terminal method of conductivity measurement, a two-electrode equivalent conductivity measurement method based on the ground current field transport model is proposed. The "air-ground" layered medium ground current field transmission model is constructed, the equivalent conductivity model is further derived, the model error is corrected, and the simulation results show that the measurement accuracy of the uniform medium reaches 99%; the measurement results of the mixed non-uniform medium are in line with the theory; the dielectric conductivity increases firstly with the increase of the medium volume and then tends to be stable, and the measurement range of conductivity can be roughly determined accordingly. Under the two dry clay and soil environments, the measurement results are consistent with the soil EC value detector, which meets the application requirements.
