MCGAN: a novel channel estimation method for load management systems
Precise channel estimation is fundamental to ensuring the reliability, response time, and data accuracy in load management systems, particularly in complex power system environments where communication issues arise from multipath fading and propagation interference. This paper presents an innovative channel estimation method specifically designed for load management systems. The proposed method employs a Channel Generative Adversarial Network (Channel GAN) architecture, combining Super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network (SRGAN) and Denoising Generative Adversarial Network (DnGAN) techniques. This approach is further enhanced by a Multi-Layer Attention Mechanism (MLAM) to focus on pertinent features and improve the robustness of the model. The Channel GAN competes between a generator and discriminator, facilitating the learning of robust feature representations for effective reconstruction and denoising in Frequency-Bell Multicarrier (FBMC) communication systems. Moreover, the MLAM and multi-modal fusion strategies allow for more precise channel parameter estimation by concentrating resources on essential feature extraction. This method, grounded in deep learning techniques, successfully addresses the challenges of high complexity and low estimation accuracy in FBMC systems. Experimental evaluations confirm that the proposed scheme surpasses traditional methods in terms of accuracy and adaptability. This work contributes to the ongoing efforts in enhancing the operation and maintenance of load management systems within smart grid infrastructures.
