Channel mismatch calibration for multicoset sampling
Multicoset sampling is a sub-Nyquist sampling technique, which can break through the limitation of sampling theorem for sparse signal acquisition. Multicoset sampling is implemented with the parallel channels. In practical application, due to non-ideality existed in the circuitry, the channels of multicoset sampling cannot be implemented identically, and this difference will result in the mismatch between the channels. Due to the mismatch of sampling channels, the model of signal reconstruction will not be able to descript the practical circuit model, and the performance of Multicoset sampling is degraded. The gain and phase differences are the main issues of the multicoset sampling system. In this paper, the gain and phase mismatches are considered, and the impact of channel mismatch is analysed. In order to calibrate the mismatch, the signal reconstruction model with channel mismatch is constructed. The constructed model can accurately reflect the behaviour of the multicoset sampling circuitry system. With the constructed analysis model, the channel mismatch can be calibrated. The simulation experiments are performed to evaluate the calibration model for the channel mismatch of the multicoset sampling, and the satisfactory results demonstrate the feasibility of proposed calibration method.
