Design and simulation of marine rocking reduction device based on control torque gyro
When a ship sails, it will be impacted by the waves and obtain transverse rocking, which greatly affects the safe operation of the ship's equipment and the feeling of the =sailors. The traditional gyro stabilizer reduces the rocking of the ship as a whole, but the application of rocking reduction devices is limited by the size of the ship. In this paper, we design a marine rocking reduction device based on the control torque gyro, analyze the principle of the gyro stabilizer, and combine the gyro stabilizer with the 4-RPU parallel mechanism to realize the shaking reduction of the ship and the shipboard equipment. We establish a three-dimensional model, and simulate the dynamics and process the assembled prototype for experiments. The results show that when the ship produces 30° transverse rocking motion, the rocking reduction device we designed can achieve 93% rocking reduction effect on the target platform, and compared with the traditional rocking reduction equipment, the rocking reduction effect of this equipment is increased by 9%.
